About project:
We are currently seeking an experienced Accountant for one of our projects. The project is the gathering place for individuals working or interested in the field of blockchain & web 3. Our mission is to create the world's largest community of contributors in Web 3.0. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in financial management and reporting, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and regulations compliance.
Goal & Objectives:
– Full company accounting in Xero;
– Customizing Xero to fit our company's needs
– Systematized collection, processing and storage of company documentation
– Calculation of the VAT and CPT plan
– Independent preparation of the company's financial statements
– In-depth knowledge and understanding of the UAE taxation and company administration system
– Communication with local agents is established
– Customizing Xero to fit our company's needs

Duties & Responsibilities
– Preparation, collection and control of the availability of primary documents for the company (UAE jurisdiction)
– Systematization and administration of documentation
– Company accounting in Xero
– Transfer of information on company transactions and explanations to them to local agents
– Tax planning of the company's results
– Control over the timely preparation and submission of reports to the relevant authorities
– Monitoring compliance with tax payment deadlines and other mandatory payments
– Preparation and support of the annual audit of financial statements, including communication with administrators and auditors, provision of documents and answers to requests, protection of the best audit result
– Interaction and communication with the legal department and operations team on relevant issues
– Active participation in the formation of the company's accounting policy
– Setting up / customizing the accounting system (Xero) to the needs of the company
– Active participation in the formation of the financial function of the company (development of processes, description of procedures and writing of policies)
– Ad-hoc tasks from the CFO
